When we saw MacroLife Naturals at the Natural Products Expo, it felt like we ran into an old friend. Of course, we had never met anyone who worked there before, but we got some of their bars in a Conscious Box and fell in love with them. We’ve been customers ever since, but had never heard about the Miracle Red or Macro Greens drink mixes.
Macro Greens drink was created in 1996 and contains 38 ingredients that feed the body at a cellular level, nourishing the body with antioxidants, co-nutrients, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Macro Greens is made with no common allergens, certified organic barley grass and is gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO.
Miracle Reds drink is a fruit blend with 19 antioxidant-rich fruits and berries; acai, goji, mangosteen & turmeric; and is also gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO. This was my favorite of the two drinks. It’s sweet and fruity, and in no way reminds me of a “health food drink.” I can imagine mixing it with some kombucha for a perfect healthy concoction ~ as soon as we get to the Vitamin Shoppe to get some more, I will try it and post an update. 🙂
We did use both kinds in smoothies with frozen bananas and plain almond milk. In a most unexpected twist – we both felt really energetic after these drinks. Thumbs up.
